About Me

My photo
janero
Lovin God, Nature, Art and Crafty stuff just like my Mom and Dad did as I was growing up in East Africa! I'm married to a great "always young at heart" guy, have a cat with character, and finally have reached that supposedly magical retirement time when I can now do all of these fun things full time (we'll see how that goes...lol)! I'm a self-trained, perhaps inherited from both sides of the family, artist that loves to create something for others to add joy and love to their life. My photography hopefully creates something that can be felt through color and dimension - perhaps creating a place in time where you would love to be, or a scene that warms your heart, energizes or stimulates creativity and a joy for life and nature. Things created with the hand always seem to hold a special meaning, both for the creator and the beholder. The ultimate Creator of all, my friend & Savior Jesus Christ, the God of the Universe (Col 1:15-17, 2:9, I Tim 3:13, John 1:1-14,10:30-33, 12:45, Heb 1:8) has supplied us with endless beauty - and I think that imitation (trying to capture that beauty in art form) is hopefully the best flattery. Thank you God!! (good thing God doesn't copyright, huh!)
