Christmas Cabin

Here is 3 different versions of a similar Christmas card:

Stamps:  Inkadinkado "Snowy Cabin"; Verve Christmas Blessings Plane Jane; TPC Studio Christmas Sillouettes (clear stamps)
Punch: Wreaths and Boughs - Martha Stewart Branch

Christmas Cards - Thomas Kinkade - Hearts Come Home

I fell in love with the Thomas Kinkade Stamps, and was overjoyed when they made more for Heritage Farms...just had to get a few more...this one is Village Christmas.  http://www.cornishheritagefarms.com/Thomas-Kinkade/
I used Copic markers to highlight portions...and the Copic fluorescent Yellow-Orange for the windows and lights (which really popped like his paintings do as the "Painter of Light").  The sentiment is Just Rite "Hearts Come Home." Inside the card I stamped a great little verse stamp I bought at Michaels (has no name on it, and couldn't find it online) for the Baby Jesus birth.
Punches:  Martha Stewart

Christmas Cookies - Royal Icing

Being my first attempt at using royal icing to make some "designer" Christmas Cookies, they didn't turn out too bad.  It was fun, but sooooooo tedious.  I am in new "AWE" of cookie makers, and can understand why they are expensive.  It really is art, and takes a little practice.  If I ever do it again, hopefully they will be a little better with experience. :)

To give you an idea of some great cookies, and how to make royal icing, here are just few good sites.

Christmas Baubles

I made this Christmas card for my mother/father-in-law using Magenta self-adhesive peel off's in gold for the baubles (I also have some of Anita's and Stampendous peel offs I use). I created a pocket in the front of card to insert a tab with first part of verse (pre-printed, bought velum packet of verses), and continued the verse on the inside.
