Baby Girl Scrapbook

This is a 24+ page scrapbook made for our beautiful grand-daughter Sophia....it was a joy to make as I think of all of the things she will be experiencing and learning in her first few years of life....Sorry, there are quite a number of pictures, but some close-ups show more detail.  The cuts are mostly made with Cricut, and Tim Holtz or Spellbinders dies. (sorry for the "chunkiness" of layout....had trouble with this old blogger format trying to fit more pics to make better use of the space...one of these days I will be brave enough, or have the time to switch over to new format...just click on first pic - it's easier to see them that way)

The film strip is Tim Holtz Alterations Die "Decorative Strip," and bird motif is Cricut cut.
I just love Mo's Digital Pencil digi's, and especially her snow fairies...she is so talented.  I just had to buy a few of them!!  This is "Winter Fairy Talva"....there is another one (Santa Kai) later on in this book.

It was fun using this little "action wobble spring" to make the snowman jiggle...hadn't used one before (got this one at a craft fair, but you can get many brands on Amazon), and they are so cute for cards or scrapbooks. This lady shows what they are about, halfway down the page:  Sandie's Card Garden  The snow flakes are cut on the Cricut with the "When It's Cold Outside" cartridge. The snow at bottom of page is White Flowersoft.
The Poinsettia here is Tim Holtz Tattered Poinsettia Die., and the punch is Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page.
This BEAUTIFUL little digi is another Mo's Digital Pencil digi....called "Santa Kai"...so precious! The back is left blank for adding a picture.
To make the bough I used the Martha Stewart Branch Punch....great punch for wreaths, boughs or trees!

I love these little glue on sayings, but I am realizing from previous purchases and books that I have made using these, that the resin in them yellows over time...not a good thing, unless you don't mind the "vintage" look like on this page.

These butterflies are punched from plain white card stock that I inked in rainbow colors.

The digi of this little girl playing dress-up is another one from Mo's Digital Pencil, called "Big Shoes."

The cut outs on the back cover are from Cricut cartridge "Nursery Rhymes"...Three Blind Mice, Cat and the Fiddle, and Three Little Pigs.
