Explosion Box with Tea Light Birthday Cake

I made this Explosion Box with 2 interchangeable lids, one cut with Cricut Lace cartridge design.  I love seeing the little Tea Light through the lacy lid when it is closed, but note that these little Tea Lights instructions say they only last for about 24 hours of burning.

I added a "shrinky dink" charm and lots of tags with quotes and tabs for pictures.

Birthday Card

Stamps:  TPC Studio "Vintage Greetings" (front of Card); Artful Stamper "Muskoka Moment"; Inkadinkado "Birds Galore"
I added a "hand made gift certificate" I found template for online to his favorite store for the amount of his choice for some tech he needed (since price was unknown).  Copic Markers used.

Dad's Birthday Card - The Old Tractor

A Birthday Card I made by using a picture of the old tractor that Dad had on his farm for years, that he loved so much...and has since bought back.  I edited with a little vintage coloring.

Birthday - Eat More Cake!

Stamp:  Flourishes - Let Them Eat Cake

"Fragrant Garden" Birthday Card

Made this as a Birthday Card using the French sentiment stamp from Just Rite, "Fragrant Garden Background."  I wish I was a little more creative than to just copy the color scheme they used on the packaging, but I loved the colors!  I used Copics and Distress Ink, and brushed on a little glitter glue/paint.

Sunflower Birthday

I used watercolors for this sunflower stamp...need more practice with the paints, but it turned out ok after all...had fun painting!

Flowers, Lace and Pearls

This was for a friends Aunt who had a 90th Birthday! Punches, Lace, Flowers and Pearls...she gave me some "tidbits" about her Aunts personality and what she likes, and picked out the sentiment inside.

Cherry Blossoms - Birthday Card

This was a watercolor of a Japanese Flower Tree stamp - with a Bird theme.

I printed copyright free sheet music for happy birthday and added some personalized words - with the birds all singing the melody!

Birthday Card - Tropical flair

The idea for this card came from Kim MacNutt's gallery a few years back (Thanks Kim - your work is awesome) http://stampingbetweenthedishesandthelaundry.blogspot.com/ I used a palm tree and pineapple stamp and colored in w/markers, and stamped a letter-writing print in background.

Birthday Card

I used embossing on the rose on this card - and tried blending different colors for the background on plain cardstock before stamping.
