Marie Selby Botanical Gardens

A beautiful photo op and relaxing place to go if you ever visit here (central Gulf of Florida) is the Marie Selby Gardens in Sarasota! It's about 10 acres of great gardens, a conservatory and greenhouses full of incredible tropical plants - and a wonderful collection of orchids!! All overlooking the water. We visited in March during their Spring Garden & Plant Festival.

The banyan tree grove is great - the tree roots go on forever!

There was also a Fine Art show in the Selby House.
The boardwalks run along the water, and wind through the mangroves.
